Dr. Russo is a Nurse Practitioner, Nationally Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, with sub-specialty certification in Palliative Advanced Practice Nursing. Marguerite’s formal education includes degrees: Associate Applied Science Nursing 1975, Bachelor of Science in Nursing 2006, Master of Science in Nursing-FNP 2008, Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing 2015, and Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing-PMHNP 2020. Being a lifelong learner and teacher instills Marguerite’s care with education and exploration to empower awareness and self-care. Her extensive nursing experience affirms respect and advocacy for the role of individuals and families participating in care that is aligned with their wishes to facilitate evidence-based treatment results fostering intrinsic healing of mind, body and spirit.
