Anne is a graduate student at Liberty University pursuing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with plans to graduate in Spring 2027. She earned her undergraduate degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in Elementary and Special Education. After working as an elementary special education teacher, Anne transitioned to a nonprofit organization where she supported adolescents and young adults with disabilities. In this role, she served as a mentor and leader, organizing group events, small groups, and activities designed to foster connection, growth, and community.

Anne strives to create a warm, compassionate, and welcoming environment where each client feels heard, valued, and accepted. She is passionate about utilizing a Person-Centered approach while incorporating techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet the unique needs of each individual. Anne has a particular interest in becoming a Grief Counselor and hopes to support individuals as they navigate the challenges of loss and find meaningful ways to move forward.

Outside of counseling, Anne enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with family and friends. She also enjoys working at her church with the youth ministry, where she has the opportunity to connect with and support young people.
